This character animation comes straight out of Richard Williams’ book the animators survival kit. When he talks about keys and uses this as an example of how to use them. It’s a great dissection of how to time things and how to approach animating a character. This scene was very interesting to make especially using this new doll I made for testing these sorts of animations. I do plan to make more as well and they will be posted here.
