Title: Marble Madness remake
Pure entry

This was a lot of fun to make and kinda therapeutic. This was one of my favorite arcade games when I was a kid. I recently attended a vintage computing festival so I really was in the mood for participating in this theme.

‘Needs More Than A Remaster’

Open- The only thing that’s not new is the font, but it’s a pretty important part of the scene.

I don’t know what the right way to make those rock walls is, but it definitely wasn’t the way I did it. It was really tedious and slow and ended up looking super janky. I kinda wish I had enough time to start over.

Cool idea! Breakout in 3D has to be quite challenging  I’m glad you like the theme @Akikun.

Back in the day, a friend had this game on his Amiga 500. I always appreciated the game’s comical style, but since I didn’t own it myself, I stuck mostly to Rainbow Islands and Rick Dangerous. If time permits, I’ll definitely work on this a bit more, as it’s far from finished.

Stole the idea from @Lopol55 (Hi, btw!) to reference the first game I ever played. No idea how it’s actually called, though.

Especially if you use the mode where you have to move in the real world in order to move the paddle. Of course there is another mode where simply moving the controller moves the paddle.

Sounds great and would make a good exercise. If I played it with a VR headset, I’d probably completely smash up my apartment

Yes, a sizeable empty room would be needed. The box would include a warning where the player is solely responsible for damages that may occur during gameplay.
