“There are two main goals for these contests: Fun and Glory.
Fun: You get only 4 days to create a cool image, based on the theme for the week.
Glory: After 2 days of voting, a winner is declared. The winner picks the theme for next week and will be featured in the Feature Row.”
The wall model is from my entry to the weekend challenge ‘heater’ from a few months ago (Challenge #1158 "heater" (29/08/25) Entries CLOSED - #4 by Withers99).
The door model is new, the materials are from BlenderKit. For the lock I used a keypad lock model from BlenderKit, I modified this slightly to better suit the purpose. The phone is a model of an iPhone 13 from BlenderKit, I then modified the material to have the red background. I used the text tool in Blender to add the lettering.
After I made my first render I thought the door looked too dark, so I tried increasing the strength of the sun light. However I didn’t like how this made the phone look, so I used the light linking feature in Blender to enable the light for everything except the phone screen. To illuminate the phone screen I used an emission shader node.
This is an image that I created In Blender using cycles, the image shows a gun, bullets and dogtags belonging to the Reaper clan in the future. Clans are a system I invented which divides armies in the war. All the materials are from the Blenderkit addon. This image took about 3 days to make, no compositing was involved.
The topology is OK but the low points are in the letters, numbers and bevelled corners.
Overall I think this is a good render.
My name is Jack, Im 13 and from Ireland.
Holograms!
My first try at posting 3D art, better yet a challenge. I made everything in Blender with inspiration from a few tutorials.
Sleeping this off
I skimmed pinterest for some inspiration, found a picture I liked and started modelling without looking too closely and… it was AI! So I’m not gonna credit the original artist. Suffice it to say the fact that all the bits of the original didn’t actually make any sense or fit together gave me a good challenget to try and model something that was more plausible.
I honestly think this maybe looks better in wireframe:
