This was a hard one to try and make blender look like watercolor and ink.

everything was then drawn into to further add detail and composited for the final look

How it's done

This is the actual 3d scene without any shading

Here is the auto grease pencil with lots of modifiers

The final result also needed compositing to get the paper correctly embedded

When I suggested the theme for this week I had in mind to make some kind of cute fantasy house but then my brain went totally side ways and I though… hmm… a place where you can call home could be a phone box… and in the old 80:s movie E.T. wanted to call home… so here we are… I think it got quite far fetched

Maybe a dumb question but what is the ruling for posting submissions made for the weekly challenge in the Finished Art topic as well after the voting is closed? Asking for myself in case it would fall under some sort of anti-spam/anti-duplicate rule
