BAD day …WIP

This time OPEN… It will be dark …very dark. As amateur is a great honour to compete with professionals.

@Karmon I know what you mean  I never thought I’d be able to do anything worth posting on internet, this forum is helping me confront that fear and providing a lot of inspiration. I still wish I knew what I could do to become professional though…

Eau Snake!

Pure entry, 1000 samples. “It’s a snake, live with it” - grumpy clown. Turns out I need one for my CG boost entry. Sorry, I’m being, what’s the word?

This particular snake has evolved a knifed tail to go with its forked tongue. This trait allows it to exhibit the proper manners that will earn it its cake at the end of the day.

End of a Bad Day

Pure entry, 32 samples & compositor denoising in 2.90.0 alpha. Composition is Rule of Thirds, 8x5 aspect ratio. Thing I did for this that I’ve never done before: Sky Node – in fact, I was just playing around with the new 2.90 Sky Node Nishita mode when I thought I could make a good entry out of it. Don’t think I’ve ever changed the Gamma setting before either.

Edited: tried some stuff I saw in this tutorial on it, like this version better.

2p90_SkyNodeTest_004.blend (923.7 KB)
2p90_SkyNodeTest_005.blend (930.9 KB)

“Bad Boy”

Pure entry. Made in Blender 2.82, cycles. Everything is modeled by me. I used krita for the papers textures and the wool texture, the rest is all made in blender. It’s a cute BAD boy.

I might be back in a few weeks guys found a really good PC that has 12 core processer and 16gig of ram but will upgrade it to 32gig of ram after I get it. it might be compatible with the gfx card to radion gtx I think I’ll have to check it later.
It means higher quality work from me.:sweat_smile::yum:💆:+1:
It can use 3 monitors at one time. :yum:

In my experience, blender tends to work better with NVidia.

Bad day ? Night will be worse…

Open entry. Character and creatures from “Mixamo”,Trees made with " Modular tree addon", Fire is a picture from “Pexels”. I’ve used ready models and focus on creation the scene and compositing what was quiet new experience for me.

Lol, ya I was using a laptop when I was doing my renders before, but I’m moving over to a tower with 8 times the power of the laptop. :yum:
My father said my ram bar in my laptop might have fried which might be causing it to not boot I’ll get a new bar in a few weeks to see if it’s the problem.

Isn’t radion, Nvidia?

Radeon is an ATI or now AMD creation. AMD tends to have spiffy names to their graphics cards, whereas NVIDIA just tends to be more bland with their naming and solely lean towards numerical names. GTX 1060,70,80 then you get the Titan but then it is just a Titan with numerical values as well.
