Unfortunately, I did not have time to finish (I got a little lost on the way to the texture of my cube).
So here is my unfinished version and necessarily, out of competition ^^’

That’s what I call a good-looking piece of educational material!

Congrats Milani, and thanks to the person who voted for mine! This week my votes went to me and Sanne’s Little Treasures (composition, lighting, and those stones come together in a beautiful simplicity). Great entries everybody!

@Sanne, do you mind posting that stone material? It’s really nice.

Thank you for the votes! I hope you’ll have fun with the next theme.

Ready to throw out some money? Here you go:

@Millani, congrats, well deserved win! Having a background in Geology I very much like your entry, an easy choice for my first vote. My other vote went to RayVelcoro, great abstract interpretation of the theme, and thanks for the making of, very interesting.

@KickAir_8P, thank you for your kind words and for appreciating my stone material, here you go:

I gave each stone a suitable object ID and did some hue trickery so each stone has the same material but with its own color.

Great entries everybody, and thanks for your votes!

Appreciate it! Gave it a shot – not as realistically subtle as yours, but okay for a test:
