Fun: You get only 4 days to create a cool image, based on the theme for the week.
Glory: After 2 days of voting, a winner is declared. The winner picks the theme for next week.”
Cycles, 4096 samples, denoiser, sapling tree gen, smoke simulation (Pure)
Fast cooking a turkey in an oil deep fryer is fast but requires finesse. It goes from super yummy to charcoal flavor in a blink of an eye. A few extra bottles of red wine placed on the table to distract from the food disaster. Drunk covers a lot of food faux pas (my first go to solution but normally little water instead of wine).
Cycles render, open entry, due to all the assets I got from Shop :: Cone Head (franciscocharrua.com). This was made in blender 3, so, I have no idea how many samples were used, from now on that info will be omitted.
Built in collaboration with Thomas (tomwil) on the weekend
We spent most of the hours making the cookies insanely detailed, and almost NOTHING of all these cookie-details can be seen in the picture
Pure. 1 texture (red and white stripes) was made in paint. Cycles X with 8000 samples.
Inspiration was a photo we found on google. We had a lot of trouble with the cloth-physics and we are not really happy with the result. It seems that Blender does not work very well with cloth-sim at a tiny scale.
Gingerbread house Pure Cycles + OpenImageDenoiser
The noise texture for the gingerbread can’t be seen well probably because of the low sample count, so it looks like plastic.
