Fun: You get only 4 days to create a cool image, based on the theme for the week.
Glory: After 2 days of voting, a winner is declared. The winner picks the theme for next week.”
For details please check out the: CHALLENGE RULES
Btw.: Comments are welcome in both threads (entries/voting). Have fun!
Ok, it is a plant with the same name used to make some funny advertising i guess.
Ha, I grew up on Carlingford Lough. I never knew about that spot on Slieve Foy. I may have to enter this weekend challenge.
“The 4-Leaf Clover”
Pure Entry. Also any tips of how I could make it better?
I don’t know what to do for this week, so I made this.(Jpeg cause the gif was too large) Still no ideas, but I learned 2 things, 1: No amount of dampening can un-jank this rigid body sim, and 2: Motion blur doesn’t work right with rigid bodies. You have to bake to keyframes.
Edit: btw I think the motion blur thing is just a bug
Wow is amazing! Well, I have been using Blender for 2 months so I really don’t know how you made that.
For me after every change rebake worked for me, if i used particles.
Pure, cycles, opendenoiser, rendertime <3min., used glare and mist defocus, all made i blender, used an hdri for the sky and prepared some coin textures in gimp from some old irish gold coins. The head is sculpted and get some vertices paint. If you are interested i get an easy way to get feet base with subdiv in the .blend-file.
Give the leaves a simple hearth shape and put a subdivision modifier on it:
This is my entry for the Leprechaun theme.
It is an Open entry, I can’t do character modelling at all so I purchased the leprechaun model from CGTrader and added lights, materials, fur, and smoke. Rendered in eevee. Little bit of post processing in GIMP.
Pure. “End of the Rainbow”
"Waiting For You"
non competing (pure), Cycles (10 samples + denoising), Blender 3.1
Pile o’ gold clovers
Pure - Evee
“In the home of a Leprechaun”
This is a competing and open entry. Rendered in cycles. The shoes were taken from blenderkit and some post-processing was done in GIMP.
Party of One
Open entry, I took the girl from In the Shadows :: Underneath a Gas Lamp (franciscocharrua.com), made changes, et voila
Can somebody guess my computer specs?
