Change Color toward Light?

Is there any way yet to make a material where the area in the light is a different color to the shadow ?


This is probably the easiest way.

Works perfect with Eevee thanks, what about Cycles ?

Cycles doesn’t have Shader To RGB conversion, so there is no rendertime solutions.
Unless reflections is an issue, you could do a grayscale prerender pass in Eevee, and use this as a mask for the Cycles effect, using Window texture coords.

For that look (in original post) you could just try a yellow base material with orange subsurface.
