Chaos And Evolutions - Gimp

I’m using Microsoft Vista and I can’t get the same Gimp as they use in the Chaos And Evolutions tutorial series.

I wonder if any of you could. If yes, could you please post the steps here?

What exactly is different/not there? - Brushes? Window layout? extra tools? plugins?
Chaos and Evolutions should come with all the software and plugins you need.
It might also be a good idea to look atthis thread, where David (forum name: DeeVad - he made Chaos and Evolutions) has posted help for a few other people who were having trouble with installing stuff for GIMP.
