Character animation industrie

Will it be a good choice to choose blender 4 when you want to work in the character animation industrie or is Maya still the best choice ? Just wondering.

The question is: what is “the”

…

Animation for games, for TV spot, short filem cinema, for “real” movies or animated ones…
…and then also what does the “major production studio” use in their workflow. Also “animating” a character is an art/craft on it’s own… because there are still some animations which use computers for additional support but aren’t animated within a computer completely. Additionally i made the general experience that people who say that some specific tool is used in their domain… sometimes just do not know the areas where something else is used. So it might also be an idea to get information about where you want to work… and escpecially what they want people for and their knowledge… but additionaly look closely where someone might be employed in the end. And then… there are a lot of layoffs recently so the number of competitors may be very high…
…regarding cost efficency some studios may want to use blender more… IDK…

Of course it is best to be only twenty years old, having thirty years of experience in fifty different apps… working twenty five hours a day, fourhundred days a year
