holy crap.
You’re a good modeller and texturer. I like the cartoony/real blend, the character has oodles of personality, a believable presence. keep going, can’t wait for the animation
I think the proportions are a little off on the head - the front view looks fine, but the neck feels a little too big. His face seems like it should be wider than it is in order to match the rest of the head.
Can’t wait to see this in an animation. With the right voice you could create a hilarious comedy.
I’ve done a first test with a smile morph target. I still have a lot to do to make him realistic in his facial moves and lot’s of targets need to be done.
Been looking at the smile RVK animation you posted. Something bothers me about it. I think the motion is too linear . The sides of the face should stretch outwardly a bit as he smiles (even if it’s a mean, condescending smile :)). You have a good style going for him, and I’m not sure what angle you’re taking on this character’s personality, but unless you want him to move kinda mechanically, I’d suggest adding some subtle changes to the sides of his face when he smiles (nothing huge and excessively cartoony, just an idea that the skin has muscles under it).
