Hey i bought the character tut from cg cookie so i could learn the process of making a low poly character that looks good.
Anyways heres my progress so far, I have really only did a very small amount of sculpting period.
I dont draw, no years of anatomy behind me. so im learning as i go basically.
for some reason the eyes alaways are hard for me but im sure its because im a noob at trying to do humans.
Im not good enough to know how to make it look better or what is wrong with mine. thats mainly what im looking for maybe a draw over showing what a pro would do to help give it that little bit of added realism that i have no clue about. I think it looks decent so far but something is bugging me and i hope someone can help.
Ill get this toon done one day and im probably gonna start working on other parts for now and come back to the face later. but if you can give me any help its appreciated.
heres the base mesh and the face sculpt so far its all ive done for now.
i spent a little more time on the face, im only at multires 7 if i go higher my comp doesnt like it so i think it was to low to add the eyebrow alpha but it should still help the normal map a lil. next up is hair i tried doing a once over already didnt like the way it turned out but learned a lot so gonna give it another shot.
got long work weeks the next couple weeks but ill still try to update if i dont get too burnt out.
still if something looks wrong let me know im still learning. tips appreciated. cya
