Played a bit with glass shaders in Eevee. Somewhat decent results can be attained, although takes time.

Do tell! How do you get the appearance of transparency and reflections in eevee?


It’s basically down to in-mixing transparency and refraction nodes to glass via Layer Weight nodes and finding the proper value for each of them. Here’s my shader. The image texture is only for adding some finger smudges (those aren’t visible well enough).

UPD: one more thing: it is imperative to use a HDRI map or a have a populated environment and use cubemaps so that the glass have all the necessary reflections, or it won’t work.
