China virus might make computer parts price soar soon

Never attribute to something to evil when plain old stupidity will suffice.

Please don’t spread speculation as fact, or at least throw in a few “It’s possible that…” You might as well say “According to Ancient Astronaut Theorists…” In Namibia, after a period of good rains, the Kudu population explodes, when the rains stop, food runs out and the population is beset with a host of often fatal viral attacks, especially amongst the younger, poorly and older animals. It is speculated that cross species viral infection is a survival behaviour, to protect the host carrier species. Just saying…

Hon Kong crisis was most active a few months ago. As we have seen, China doesn’t care what the rest of the world thinks of what is happening in Hong Kong. This is a virus that is not that dangerous but might kill you if you have weakened immune system. Regular cold/flu have killed more people than corona.

Please don’t be so overtly insulting and build ridiculous straw-men to beat me and collectively the rest of us who think it’s a bioweapon over the head with.

What are the chances a known and sequenced virus transmits from some unknown animal (no known extra animal deaths to account for this btw) to some dude in Wuhan, the same city where a biolab with the same virus existed?

Please explain where the virus comes from, oh wait you can’t. it preexists the market. More than a third of the very first cases had no contact whatsoever with the market.

"No epidemiological link was found between the first patient and later cases.” So not only did a sizable portion of the early cases have no market link, the first known patient didn’t either — and no one knows how that person became infected.

The CCP refuses to produce any information about the first few patients to anybody!

Good luck proving some greasy snake, bat, or dog did this in the same city as that bio-lab only miles away from the to-be-later epicenter.

Very plausibly a bio weapon screw up. Some lab animal bit a worker or he sneezed in the wrong dish. The USA Gov seems to think so, pentagon, homeland security, white-house, etc. Any expert will acknowledge the possibility and they will also point out that the CCP numbers are not reflecting a true reality.

Not that it changes anything now or even matters, something you are totally neglecting.

Don’t preclude the possibility. It’s a known fact that many governments are producing bio-weapons, sickening as it is. Scum commie China and Xinnie is at the top of the list for possible screw ups, as the Russians had their fair share of screwing up in the 70s and 80s. Don’t trust the commies, their information is clearly restricted and unreported. Just the other day they arbitrarily dictated that those who test positive but do not show symptoms will not be counted. Problems is that many of those cases are still contagious and symptoms will probably show up later. WHAT A JOKE.

See, unlike the commies, we have freedoms here. We need to protect all speech.

Yes, let’s quarantine nearly 100 million with force (google it) for some flu.

Not if it makes a lap around the world a time or two, buddy.
And you’re using the old numbers. It’s steadily showing to be more deadly, even with inaccurate totals.

Yes, let’s quarantine nearly 100 million with force (google it) for some flu.

It could be as deadly as the Spanish flu and kill like a cool 20-50 mil if it find its legs. That’s worse case, yes! But it has been 100 years and we’re due for another hit. It’s totally capable.

Anyhow, the normal flu wont screw you up for up to 3 weeks and cause longer term complications for your body afterwards.

Common flu gets you sick around a week and then you’re better and kills 97 year old grandpa with 3 heart stints.

Coronovirus only needs time. It probably wont kill you or me, but there’s a far greater chance it could if we get it than the common flu. It will also suck more for longer and could possibly mess with the economy in bad ways as it already is.

All major governments are involved in bio weapons.
Just the fact.

All it takes is some idiot in China or anywhere else to make a mistake and not tell nobody or even know it.

One might say working on bio weapons is stupidity.

Looks like it’s really hard to educate self nowadays in the age of confusion.
Also, would be nice to correct the title, it’s simply discriminating.
And unless you’re in your 60s, living unhealthy consumer’s life, you have nothing to worry about but your own susceptibility to idiocracy. There’s more probability you die during daily commuting by lack of paying attention or DUI.

…and another fun fact:

About eight percent of human genetic material comes from a virus and not from our ancestors, according to a new study. The research shows that the genomes of humans and other mammals contain DNA derived from the insertion of bornaviruses, RNA viruses whose replication and transcription takes place in the nucleus*

About economics, even weather, global climate influences production and market value.

Can something that is accurate be discriminating? Last I checked it was China that is seeing nearly all cases and it was China alone that shut down tons of factories and put 500 million people on some form of travel ban. Last I checked it was China that made the majority of computer parts.

Please don’t bring the mentality of those who actively search for a reason to be offended by something.

I’m not comfortable with this conspiracy theory direction and am locking the topic until the other @moderators have had a look at it.
