Chinese Retro Door Knocker Asset Pack | 9 Styles, Great for Games & 3D Printing

Hey everyone,Long time no see

It’s been a while since I last shared something here — work has kept me pretty busy, but I finally managed to put together a new project I’d love to show you all.

Over the past month I’ve been working on a set of Chinese retro-style door knocker assets. The pack includes 9 unique designs, each created with two different workflows depending on the use case:

Low-poly versions: Fully PBR-ready, clean UVs, and optimized for real-time rendering. These are ideal for game environments (ancient courtyards, temples, etc.) or film props where performance matters.

High-poly versions: Packed with fine details, making them perfect for 3D printing or close-up renders where you want all the tiny engravings and sculpted forms to pop.

I’ve also included a look at the UV layouts and wireframes, so you can see how the topology is structured if you’d like to tweak or re-texture them.

Here are some of the preview renders and breakdowns — hope you enjoy them!
If you’re curious about the full pack or want to see more of my work, just check out the link in my profile (I’ve put it in my custom status so it’s easy to find).

Looking forward to your thoughts and feedback!

Okay, that’s all for the sharing. To prevent the post from being too long, I’ll only share the preview images of these models.

Wow, really detailed work… Even though I am not way closer to these skills than you are, I will still dare to make just one comment, the models are super impressive but the renders sort of lack photorealism I mean it looks like CGI, but as you said they are good for games and I ma pretty sure they will print out just as fantastic.

Thanks so much for the thoughtful feedback! You’re totally right—these are just simple preview renders, meant to highlight the models’ details (like the carvings) rather than push for photorealism.

Glad you liked the models, and I totally agree with you about the 3D print potential too—with how much detail the high-poly versions have, they’d translate really well physically. Your note even makes me think about adding a few more polished renders later! Really appreciate the input.

Aren’t we all… :joy: Replied just to bump it too as it deserves views and positive feedback!! :+1:

Haha, thanks so much! I’m just wondering why there’s so little feedback. Is it ‘cause my work is too bad, or maybe this kind of Chinese - style stuff isn’t that popular?
