Chrome & Nostalgia

Digital Aesthetics & Liminal Spaces: A Visual Study

This project is a sequel to a study I began a few months ago. This time, I’ve explored further into a visual language derived from references outside traditional architecture, shifting toward digital aesthetics and the concept of liminal spaces.

The structure, now featuring a chrome materiality, hovers over a dreamlike landscape — a reimagining of the iconic “Bliss” wallpaper from Windows XP.

My goal in crafting this model was to translate elements of my personality into imagery, evoking a sense of nostalgia to those who lived in the early digital era, while simultaneously offering a serene and peaceful visual experience for everyone.
