Regarding the tutorial, I like very much the Shazam one http://shazam.3dpoder.com/varios/tut_shazam_LSCM.zip (it’s in spanish but it’s very easy to follow)
Regarding the model I think that it’s obvious where the split was, because that line is underlevelled (if this word exists). I think you have to fix it.
