Here is my rendition of Chun-Li from the Street Fighter series, showcasing my take on her Nostalgia outfit. This real-time, game-ready model consists of 136,396 triangles and took approximately two months to complete from start to finish. All shots are rendered in EEVEE.
Throughout this project, I gained invaluable insights into baking and texture painting techniques, thanks to the videos of J. Hill and Jared Chavez. Additionally, one of the poses was inspired by Pablo Perdomo’s art.
I also made significant advancements in learning about hair cards, developing them from scratch, and applying these techniques to Chun-Li’s hairstyle.
Overall I’m happy with the end results, though I’d like to push these projects out faster.
I love this. Love it. I’m shocked it’s got no feedback.
The body sculpting and posing really shows of Chun Li’s character. And you’ve done a wonderful job with her outfit.
The face looks like a really original interpretation of the character.
Overall you knocked it out of the park with the stylisation of her. I’m jealous. There’s literally nothing I would change about it. I’m not surprised it took you two month.
Do you have anything in mind for your next project?
