Hello everyone! this time I got my hands back on an old work of mine. The intent was to study the cinematic lighting of an indoor environment. I improved the candle animation and the textures as well as the general lighting and atmosphere.
I know that there is still work to be done to get optimal results (primarily the lack of time and resources to be able to render everything in 4K), but I am quite satisfied with the result for now.
I had the pleasure of finally being able to learn how to use DaVinci Resolve for post production and I had a lot of fun using the free version of it. The basic rendering is in fact a combination of Cycles (basic models) and Eevee (volumetrics).
I will probably do in the future a video tutorial or something where I explain/show the procedure when I will be more confident with this tool and when I will get better results.
Feel free to comment and make suggestions or ask anything, I will appreciate that.
Enjoy!
