Civic Center in Seville

Good afternoon to all, I have been reading this forum for many weeks and now I feel a like to share part of my work with you. I would like to show you a little work I am doing for one friend. It is a Civic Center in Seville and please, do not hesitate to give me any advice to improve my renders and my work.

First of all, I am not so proud of the lighting of the scene. Maybe the interior is too bright and the concrete ceiling does not seem to be well illuminated. And so the exterior it is not bright enough to be perceptible.

The interior lights are an invisible plane near the ceiling in the great space on the right, two lighint cylinders on the top of that space and squared integrated lamps in the ceiling near the tables and shelves.

The exterior is composed by one bright yellow sun, one blue sun not so intense, and an HDR Image.

Thank you in advance.

PD: I agree the grass is awful. I am working on it. xD

First of all, I would encourage you to put a forum concerning such an incomplete work under the “Unfinished Works” category. The guys over their can get a lot more technical, especially since this forum is more geared towards critiquing all aspects of a project as they combine, which is difficult to do when it is incomplete.

But since it’s here and being ignored, I will go ahead and point out that the ceiling is extremely confusing and the entire image does not tell one story. To make it work, you must make all the objects in the scene work together to tell one central story, or create one specific emotion, or make one point clear.

Anyways, the tree out front was amazing!

But it was a photo… wasn’t it?
