Today I continued the modeling of the central character, Luso.
I managed to finish some adjustments to the shorts.
I also started detailing the vest, which still needs a lot of work.
Tomorrow I will continue more.
You guys have such an amazing determination! really enjoy the progress! I can’t imagine the amount of hours that go into such a project! looking forward to the animation when all comes together.
Hey @hum-bee!
Thanks! We’re very happy you’re enjoying the progress!
That’s and interesting question Just for Clash on Little Pond we invested about 2000 hours. Resilience Satelle has probably double of that, so yeah roughly 6000 hours for these two projects so far
Today I completely finished modeling our main character, Luso.
I will prepare the geometry to proceed with painting the textures.
It was a little more complicated to model but in the end it was good.
Monday I will continue.
Today I started painting the textures of our protagonist.
I managed to finish the collar and personally I liked the final result I put on it, giving a feeling of depth to the fabric.
I was also able to finish the shirt and shorts.
I started in the gloves though, which I hope to finish tomorrow.
First of all I want to apologize for my absence these days, but I had some work to do having to put the project on pause.
Today I was able to pick up our protagonist again! My work today was just focused on the sneakers, which are still not finished.
As I was testing the sole paint, it took me a little longer to get the effect I wanted.
The sole was all painted!
Tomorrow I hope to be able to continue and finish the shoes.
Today I finished the details that were missing yesterday in the shoes. I used the All Star as my reference to get the details.
I also managed to finish the vest, leaving it as simple as the drawing indicates.
I hope tomorrow to be able to completely finish my work on this character, and thus start a new object.
Today I managed to finish our protagonist frog, Luso.
I managed to paint the textures of the hat, which was the last accessory that makes it up.
Then I started to paint the frog’s skin, using the colors used in the reference.
Our frog is ready for action!!
As soon as I can, I will make a new object.
Today I started another character to add to our story. She will only be an extra, so, in principle, it’s just to be part of the scenario.
Even so, I wanted to give you some details, although the outfit will be very simple.
I’m loving working on it.
It was given the name of Jenisa, because it was my son who chose it
Tomorrow I will continue.
Today I finished the modeling of our extra, Jenisa.
I started to clean up the geometry and then move on to painting the textures.
She will be very quick to finish because she is a very simple character.
Monday I will continue!
Hope you like it!!
Best regards,
Rute Perdiz
Today I started painting the textures of our secondary character in the story.
As it is very simple and as it will not focus on the evolution of the action, I am doing a very basic painting but still with detail.
I’ve already finished all the clothes and accessories and tomorrow I’ll paint the texture of the skin.
Today I managed to finish our secondary character, Jenisa.
We added some contours to give it a more cartoonish look, like the previous ones.
I will then begin sketching the last character for the story.
Today I made another sketch of the next and last character that will be added to the story.
He will just be an extra who just enjoys a few beers in the tavern.
I gave it a simpler and more relaxed look and I really liked the result. It will be Joaquim.
Monday I will start modeling.
