@Rute_Perdiz I and a few friends all around the planet will be creating a fantasy, fast-paced martial arts action short animation entirely made in Blender and rendered in Eevee. Please note that this project will take a considerable amount of time to complete (possibly a very, very long time!). Our goal is to produce something remarkable and memorable while also hoping that it generates enough attention to support our main project “Resilience Satelle

Storyline:

“Luso,” a martial artist frog, is having trouble meditating on a lily pad near the local pond bar. The bar is infested with bullies who make a lot of noise and cause all sorts of trouble. Before long, the bullies become aggressive with the waitress and bartender, prompting Luso to intervene and teach them a “splashy” lesson!

Hey guys!

As Rogerio mentioned, we will start a small project for now.
I will model the entire scene to run the action.
I decided to start at the entrance of the tavern where all the action will recur, mixing the idea of a Japanese Tori with the shutters of a western style bar…and the result is what you see.

Tomorrow I will start coloring it.

Today I started painting the textures of the entrance to the tavern.
As I don’t have much experience in painting object textures, other than clothes, I’m having a bit of difficulties.
I’ve never painted wood and so I still haven’t found the way that suits me.

Does anyone have any ideas you can tell me?

Hello friends!

Today I had the chance to study the wet look that all the assets should have.
I basically made a group for which @Rute_Perdiz just needs to plug-in the Albedo, AO, and roughness maps, and it does is magic automatically for any object.

Metallic and Specular come from the 2 vertex colors channels we have specified for that.

Today I finished the complete painting of the entrance to the tavern.
Now I’m putting some more details into the geometry to give it some more depth.

Hey guys!

Today I finished the entrance to the tavern and placed the object in the scene. It looks a little bigger than the scene, but it’s due to the fact that it’s still complete. As we fill in with finished objects, we’ll adjust the scene accordingly.
I also managed to develop the basic idea of what the tavern counter will be.
Tomorrow I will start working from this idea.

Today I started to detail the bar area of the tavern.
I decided to put a barrel effect on the countertop to give it a more rustic feel.
Everything will be practically made of wood that will be painted later.
Tomorrow I will continue and I hope to be able to make good progress.

Today I managed to develop most of the modeling of the tavern bar.
I managed to make the mirror and the midwives.
I’m still studying the best way to make the small roof and all its support.

Hey guys!

Today I was able to detail the tavern bar in more detail.
On the main balcony I placed irregular planks to give it a more rustic and lively look.
I decided to put the roof of reeds, although I have not finished it yet, I will finish better on Monday.

Today I continued to paint the wood textures, as you can see.
It’s a longer process because I have to test several ways to do it until I reach the conclusion of the one that will stay.
So far I’m enjoying how it’s turning out.
