A project I’ve done to practice car modeling for game engines. My first goal with this one was to try and get used to model without having any blueprints on the background. I find that searching for good reference images is the part which annoys me most while I just want to look at the picture and jump into the process right from the beginning.
The 2nd lesson to learn was achieving reasonable amount of polygons while giving impression of a high poly model. This way I became familiar with the workflow of retopology and baking normals, which gave me 33K tris in result.
