I’m not a sculptor. Just never found the knack. I can model and texture (and I can even get away with lighting), but sculpting evades me. Andrew Price’s recent series of videos on the new cloth brush intrigued me, so off I went. I started with an old couch model, but rather than use it itself, I remodeled from cube up, and let myself loose with cloth and the cloth sculpt.
I figure I got a reasonably convincing old, comfortable couch.
