I’ve got an odd problem whereby an object in my scene isn’t acting as a cloth, literally just enable cloth sim in the physics panel but it does nothing when I hit play.
Added a plane into the scene, enable cloth sim and that starts to fall as I’d expect, but the other object just hangs in mid air. If I swap the mesh data to my ‘cloth_still’ mesh, that also just hangs in midair…
I’ve done a fair few cloth sims, so I’m puzzled by this, can anyone else have a look at my blendfile and see if they can see something wrong?
Tracked down the issue - swapping the mesh for any other and it acted as expected, so I knew there must be something wrong with my mesh rather than the object or the cloth settings.
Turned out I had a couple of doubled vertices, deleted them and the cloth is dropping as expected.
