Cloth Simulation Collision Problem

Hi Guys,

When I do a cloth simulation which falls on the object (sphere in the example), the smooth shading applied on the sphere is not recognized by the cloth and polygons of the sphere are visible as the cloth collides with the object (please see the attachment. another picture shows how the sphere looks under the cloths). This is just a standard cloth simulation with preset Silk and only quality steps are increased to 10 and collision quality to 5. Is this a correct behavior? Any ways to have cloth sim recognize the smooth shading? Thank you in advance.

You’re cutting off important UI parts. What is the vertex count for your Cloth, what modifiers Cloth object has besides the obvious one? Quite sure this is a quad mesh; make it less dense and Poke or Triangulate faces before the sim.
