Hey all just thought i’d post a work in progress of my current Blender model, inspired by the “Dark Knight” film i thought i’d do a 3D model/Image of the clown prince himself…The Joker
I’m going for a Brian Bolland (The Killing Joke) sort of feel.
After working on it for 4 hours heres what i have so far:

Thanks for the feedback so far all, thought i’d post an update nearly finished the face I have a bit of unsymentrying of the face to do to put him more in a crazy look, and some clothes to do then i should be just about ready to start adding some textures.
BTW: Can anyone think of a good way to add make up im looking at ussing SSS for the skin but want to add make up trying to avoid UVW’s if possible …im thinking vertex paint but have never done it so does anyone know of a goot vertex paint tutorial ??

Anyways, the modeling looks good.
I’d smoothen it on some places, it’s a little boxy.

Its supposed to be a little boxy as thats the style im going for but I know what ya mean by a non scary clown however clowns are scary anyways …very bloody scary
A update to this project have finished the head more or less still need to decide on wether there will be a tongue poking through the teeth, need to add a bow tie and some clothes then i’ll be starting on the textures
reminds me alot of the Joker…(just the style) and scary little boy raping clowns!(AHH! I HATE THEM)
i cant wait for the textures!

I have now finished all the modelling and now gonna start on the dreaded UVW i hate mapping 
I thought that clown looked scary (if you are refferring to the one in the short “Red’s Dream”) ! Clowns always look scary! 
Update on the UVW/Rendering have set up the lighting and have done a very rough UVW of his head, I need to work on this a bit more but this is to give a basic idea of what i’m going for
Need to still finish the skin shader and add hair and eyebrows

id make the eye shadow.(or eye liner what it is) a different color. well it really doesnt matter.

I’m thinking of having a gun or his hand pressed together in a thinking sot of pose, or maybe a long pistol with bang coming out of it would be good in a twisted james bond style thing …lol
Hey all, further update I have added some eyes and remapped the head properly, still need to work on the bump mapping and spec for the skin also still need to do the hair but project is progressing nicely

This is friggen awesome. I think the teeth need a little work, as they don’t match the level of detail of the rest of the mesh…other than that though, I’m loving it. Joker is by far one of my most favorite in the comic universe (aside from Apocalypse). What is gonna make or break this one is the hair though, as he is damn near defineable by his hair alone. Still a mug only Harley could love.

I have changed the teeth and moved the ear position.
Still no Bump or Spec on the skin and I need to add a tongue and of course the hair
