Coastal High Rise

As a weekend side project, I took a chance on an NPR render, which is not usually my thing. But I’ve ‘tasted blood’, as they say, and maybe there’s more to come. The image is 100% inspired by Peter Sheeler’s watercolour artwork ‘East Coast High Rise’. So: all credit to him for the concept and the idea. A very important tutorial for me to create the look came from Paul-Guilhem Repaux, which was also featured on blendernation. I then did the final tweeking in Snapseet, i.e. outside the blender compositor.
I would be delighted to receive comments, tips and criticism.

And here’s the viewport screenshot…

Immediately recognised it as being inspired by Peter Sheeler from the thumbnail. Like it a lot - has a lot of character.
