Hi… yeah, the manual is still very sparse on this topic.
ctrl-g

to go into the group.n
to open the side panel.+
icon (top right)In 4.1 alpha the panels work in the modifier view but not in 4.0.
Hope that helped.
Thank you. It works in Compositing nodes as well, but didn’t do what I hoped it would
I have a very complex compositing node setup (still got to get around to a YT video about that), but in there I have a group node with more than a dozen inputs and outputs, that will never change. Collapsed, they are just a huge circle.
Having said that, adding one panel for inputs, and one for outputs makes it much tidier when not collapsed, so I suppose it’s the best I can do at the moment.
I really wish there was a way to hide all inputs/outputs instead of just “unused”.
And in case you are interested, this is where that group sits. The YT vid will be about the composite group, which is where all of the complexity lies.
The stray “Switch” node is not redundant - it’s a driver for a bunch of switch nodes in the one I want to make as minimal as possible.
LOL - I don’t think it’d make particularly interesting viewing.
