Composite scene with clear bottle and video background?

I have a short video clip recorded on a tripod, so no motion tracking is needed.
I want to animate a rendered glass bottle tossed across a room by a person, but I need to have the images of the video visible within that glass bottle itself.

Here’s a basic image. Due to this website’s limited upload resources I have a single image (no video here), no motion yet. Low resolution for upload reasons. Empty bottle and a half empty bottle here.
See how the room is distorted in the glass bottle. I think it migh do.

Here is the blender file. It is very basic. (Keep the bottle mesh. A gift to you)
Composite_Clear_Object.blend (2.0 MB)

Is there a better way of doing this? I want realism. Keep in mind, the bottle in the real video will be much smaller and have motion blur, but will eventually stabilize into sharp focus when it lands onto a SHADOW CATCHER surface.

Any input is appreciated

Here’s another challenge: Liquid in the bottle. Yeah, an empty bottle is easy. If I choose to use a liquid, I’d have an incredibly huge domain and would require to have a sealed bottle already filled or partially filled. Any tip on that would be appreciated.

Try Render Settings > Film > Transparent > Transparent Glass

WOW! I never had to use that setting before.
What a huge difference. Thanks!!!

I tweaked the IOR up a little to 2.190 to make it more realistic and it works.
The caustics, shadows on the shadow catcher and reflections are perfect.

Here is a sample, using your settings. This is COMPOSITE, meaning that the HDRI is not in the scene, but composited as a background. I could use any background image (or video) separate from the HDRI that is actually used in the “world”.
