I’m confused and struggling to show a background image to composite on. I’m using Blender 2.8, and no matter whether I use Eevee or Cycles, I can’t seem to find the nodes I’m after. Some screenshots I’ve seen online show that someone is using an Alpha Over node or a Mix node in Blender 2.8, but when I do a search for them, they’re not listed. :-\ The only Mix nodes there are for me are Mix Shader and Mix RGB.
The thing is that you’re in the node editor for shading.
You must go in the compositor.
(Dont forget to check “Use nodes” and “Backdrop”)
