Compositing and dubbing

What free software is out there to dub sound to mutiple video strips/clips and add transitions between them.

I’m not sure if this is exactly what you need but
if you don’t mind a “light” version DDClip has some cool features.

I am using MovieDV from aist.de which is a german software product. MovieDV costs about $70 but there is a free version which is called MovieXone, which can be downloaded from
