As Blender is soon to be open source, Why don’t we have a special contest in honour of the liberation of Blender? This could be agreat way of publicising Blender and interesting more people in using/ developing Blender. We could have an open source/ blender theme to produce art drawing attention to blender.(e.g. using the blendo character) The art could then be used in magazines, for example , Micromart(in the U.K.) recently did an article on the free Blender campaign, we could e-mail them and ask them to do another+contact other cg specific magazines like Computer Arts magazine.
