Control rig from existing skeleton

I exported a model from MakeHuman and i’m trying to create a control rig for it, so i can properly animate it. However, i can’t use Rigify because the model was already rigged with the MakeHuman skeleton. How can i convert that skeleton to a control rig?

AFAIK, the rigged model generated by MakeHuman is a complete animation ready rig, or at least that’s what I thought…

It’s been at least a year since I looked at MakeHuman, and I only briefly looked at it, but I was under the impression it’s rig was a complete rig. I also thought MakeHuman gave the user a choice of 2 rigs to create, 1 being the MakeHuman rig, and the other being the rigify rig. You might want to re-look at MakeHuman…
