Convert a dxf to a mesh

Hi all,

I am importing a LibreCad design into Blender, this is the file:
http://tilde.club/~carloratm/downloads/prova_02.dxf

I am getting a perfect shape in Blender as Control Points:

Now, I’d like to convert those points into a mesh.
I am using “Convert to → Mesh” in Object mode.
What I got is a perfect shape but every “bevel” curve is composed by a lot of segments, and I am not able to easily fill the segments and get a face:

Is there a reasonably quick way to get a mesh from that original dxf file?

Thank you,
Carlo

Increase the “Resolution Preview U” in “Object Data Properties” to your needs before converting.

Umm that increases the curves points, making it harder to fill the shape (which is what I’d like to achieve).

Am I missing something?

Thank you

Ups, sorry i thought you wanna increase precision and didn’t payed attention to the fact that your curve isn’t filled (why???).
Now i see the problem: if you make (or add to your imported curve) a closed bezier circle (Add->Curve->Circle) switch the shape 2D, enable Fill Mode to both, go into edit mode duplicate the circle and scale it than you get a disc with a hole. But: you shape isn’t filled, it’s only a curve… Hmmmm.
Ahhh: your shape is build with not connected curves so it doesn’t define a closed shape. Then the conversion to mesh…

Ether close it before exporting or selected all vertices of the converted mesh, merge vertices by distance and make a n-gon by typing f.
