'convert' a physics simulation to an ipo/keyframe animation?

Is it possible to take a game-engine physics simulation (a cube bouncing, for example) and ‘capture’ or convert it into a keyframe-type animation that you could incorporate into a movie?

If no direct function, anyone think of a hack that would do it?
