Convert empty(ies) to pointcloud or particles

Hello,
sorry for the potential noob question. coming from maya, i have some trouble to find similar workflow in blender

is there a simple way to convert “empty” in a pointcloud or particles ?
the goal is to have a physical element with the right position in space that i can use later for instancing or export to other software

also, is there a way to batch create empty or a particle at the origin of each object ?

Finally, someone with the same problem. I’m also very interested in this. This can probably be done with python… Basically we want the opposite of “Make Instances Real” Operator.

about python, i was thinking about this too but i don’t know blender enough for now to start this
