to then make gif from your video, there’s a free video-to-gif online tool

How do I make a rendered rotation and not a viewpoint version?
And how do I record and save the clip afterwards?

I don’t know - you shown nothing that would or could explain your problem.
Take it easy. Learn the basic steps first, then persevere & repeat for as many times it takes you to become confident with newly gained skill.
