The dog adds something to the images that you just wouldn’t have without it. And that something is irresistible cuteness. And personality.
More archvis should include pets, clearly.

Very nice renders!
The dog is a nice touch, but what got me was the shaggy rug. It’s very realistic! It is done with hair particles?
Thanks! Yes, everything here is made with standard hair particles.
Nice! How you got this woolly, clumpy effect? Textures, combing? Can you share with us?
I used comb tool for particles to comb hair in realistic way. (As I see it).
And some adjustments in the settings:
Second carpet and cushions didn’t need combing, only some clumping in the settings.
