Started out as a sort of a test but it turned out to be a lot better than I expected. Haven’t been doing much Blending lately but the new RC made me want to try it again, so don’t be too harsh. 
How did you do that specular thing ?,is it seperated objects ?.
it would look better if its on paper or in a pencil box on a wooden table.
The pen has four parts: the eraser, the metal thingy, the wooden part and the graphite tip. The wooden part has multiple UV-textures (specular/normal/color/reflection) and glossy reflections. Lighting comes purely from AO with a HDR pic in the background.
Yep, not the most complex scene but neither am I.
I like it! They look a tad stubby, but cools stuff, I really like the lighting.
weeeEe, love the metallic part and the eraser. 
hate the bg, tilt the camera a bit to show only the light bluish ground. (i guess?)
