Hello there Blendeerheads, Blenderers, or whatever you guys call yourselves
I am new to these forums,
After quite a while of messing a bit with Blender, I have started to try something serious: a cow
I have never ever tried to model any organic/creature like things, so any advice critique is more than welcome, mainly about the “placement” of verts and such
That’s a good start. Maybe it’s just personal preference or something, but I would reduce the edges going down the leg to 8 or 10. Some of the edges you have flowing down the leg could flow across the shoulder instead (that’s how I would do it). All those edges you have aren’t really doing anything except making more work for you. Same goes for the neck, I would reduce some of those edges as well until I think the model is ready for more details. I wouldn’t worry about getting too detailed until after the head n feet are modeled, n the general mass n forms are there, n proportions. Try to keep the mesh light.
