Create a Realistic Earth problem

So I watching this “Create a Realistic Earth” tutorial


After I added the bump map “Bump.jpg”

The whole model turned white(with the bumps).
I followed everything he did.
What to do?

Btw I’m using Blender 2.67

Can someone help with this? And yes I did turn off the color in the influence settings.

“I followed everything he did” are the famous last words. Redo everything again, paying close attention to every step. Or at least share your .blend file with us: there are so much ways one can do something wrong there’s no point in guessing which it is. (you can use pasteall.org to upload blend files)

Thanks a lot! I’ll keep that in mind next time that happens. Funny how after I read your comment I opened the file and it just worked. I didn’t do anything O_o

Well, looking to your first image I would just say, “you checked color in diffuse besides checking normal in texture options, leave normal checked and uncheck color. That should solve your problem” but if it is already solved, that’s alright :slight_smile:
