Hi there,
I’m currently trying to create a material for a tongue.
However I find it really hard to create a normal map that provides me this nice bumpy surface structure. I tried plugging a voronoi into a bump node, but it turned out pointy and horrible.
Can my desired texture be created in a procedural/semi-procedural way? Or do I have to manually sculpt it into a super-high-res model and them bake it? (yikes!)
I mean there must be a good mathematical solution to automate the generation of monotonous, repeating structures like this, right?
