Creating a Material like this?

Hi. I am trying to recreate this material for furniture project I have as a side project.

It is a recycled plastic compound. I saw similar things in some procedural approaches in the forum. Honestly I do not remember where exactly. Do you have any tip as how to approach this procedurally ?

Thank you so much

Edit 1: I feel I am getting closer. Still there is something about the real recycled plastic…that seems less controlled.

I leave the scene file in case someone has an idea of how to develop the material further.

Exactly ! Wow! Now it looks as the ref! I Think in the ref the material seems to something that dried out after being liquid. I think the second attempt looks quite accurate!
I will explore it this afternoon
Thank you so much

Hi Pixelgrip!

I would like to get in contact with you - I’m working as a designer for a big dental cororation. I googled to find some pictures about gum tissue mapping or texture (dental) and found some of your renderings.
Would you please get in touch with me, so I could explain in detail what we are looking for.
So we can talk and see if this would be something thats of interest for you or if you could do it?

Please contact me via: [email protected]
Maybe we could have a zoom conversation?

Nice greetings from Austria,
Florian
