Creating dragon wings

I’m currently working on a dragon model that’s using a subdivision modifier. How can I create the “webs” of the wings without deforming the frame?

Select the side polygons of the digits, extrude them (e), but do not extrude them outwards. Then build your webby tissue. Basically you need more resolution on the sides of the digits before connecting the skin.

Thanks for the advice. How does this look? Also, the webbing now has exposed backfaces on the underside. Is that going to be an issue at all?

That is the basic premise but you have planning ahead.
