Creating Jewelry with Blender

I thought I might share a few things that I’ve created using all the great tools that Blender has to offer.

Wow, I really like to see 3D printed stuff when it has a lot of detail like this. How much did the ring cost to print?

Such level of details, it’s a very well done work ! Curious to know how long it take to print it and how much it cost

Thanks guys I appreciate the compliments! I had Shapeways do the printing and casting on the first ring so I’m not sure on the printing time, they charged me about 60 bucks for print and casting. I think with better printing services I could get a little better detail out of my stuff so I’ve sought out an actual jewelry shop that does just that, it’ll be more expensive but you get what you pay for  Several of my designs I carved with my 4 axis CNC mill out of jewelers wax, depending on the piece I may have up to nine hours of machine time!

This skull took approximately 7.5 hours to carve.

I had to modify the map on the signet ring, it ended up being just too darn small the first time I milled it.

Here’s a couple more finished pieces.

This was a pendant for a friends wife, sterling silver and Liver of Sulphur for the patina.

The ring I wear daily, seeing how long the detail lasts before the silver wears down, so far it’s taken quite a beating at work.

Hi, I’m new here and new to Blender. I’m looking for help with learning how to create Bas Relief in Blender to save as stl files to send to my laser for engraving jewelry pieces. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
