Creating multiple faces at once

Following a beginning tut and had a quick question:

Is there a shortcut key for creating multiple faces at once? More specifically from two edge loops. (Img below) Tut says Shift+F but that’s sending me into a camera view.

I can create individual faces by selecting 4 vertices and hitting F, but I have to do that for each individual face I want to create. Alt F will create multiple faces at once, but it does so at odd angles. (Img Below)

Thanks for the time and help. Greatly appreciated.

Enable the Loop Tools addon in the File / User Preferences / Addons / Mesh panel. Then you can use the bridge function. In your example above you could also use Alt+J to convert the triangles to quads.

EDIT: Richard was too quick

Scary Quick… Thanks Richard.

The Alt J Tri to Quad conversion worked like a champ. I enabled the add-on but, whats the shortcut key for the Bridge Function?

Thanks again!

Disregard that last post gents. Reading the wiki is a beautiful thing. Found it under the specials menu. W key for those that may not know.
