I’m not sure if this question should be here or in General Forums. Does anyone know of any programmes similar to Papagayo NG that work with Linux. At the moment I’m using Papagayo but I’m having trouble saving dat files.
Thanks
I just want to add, though Rhubarb is pretty useful, it’s only good for getting 10% of the work done. I’m currently working on a project with lots of dialogue and I used Rhubarb, but I found that it doesn’t pick up a lot of the sounds or just gets it completely wrong a lot of the time. I have had to go back through and manually set the mouth shape for the majority of the dialogue. It’s good if you’re really lazy and not looking for 100% accuracy. I’ll see if I can upload an example in a bit.
One thing to note, if you’re going to use Rhubarb, is that it only recognises WAV files. Pretty sure that’s not mentioned in the tutorial.
This is pure Rhubarb. I didn’t adjust anything. As you can see, it gets some of the visemes, but still a lot of work to do manually. For the amount of time it takes to get Rhubarb going, probably better to just do it yourself.
