Creating Texture Maps - CrazyBump or Substance B2M ?

Recently I “discovered” that you need texture maps for realistic texturing. There seem to be quite some software tools on the market for creating your own texture maps. I feel Crazybump and Substance B2M are highly qualified.

  • which one do you prefer and why ?
  • does Crazybump work in a Mac OS environment ?
  • Is the output of Substance B2M easily imported in Blender ?
  • what about pricing ?

I am looking for state-of-the-art software that can be used fairly easy in combination with Blender on a MAC computer.
